ZByte Software is seeking a versatile web developer (PHP and/or Python) who loves programming, takes pride in writing solid code and loves to build great things on the Internet. Full time or part time work is available.

The ideal candidate is experienced with server side technologies (PHP/Python) and is also proficient at front-end web development (HTML/CSS, Javascript). If you have design chops as well, all the better.

If you are not this person yet, but make up for your lack of experience with solid programming fundamentals, a great attitude and a willingness to learn new things, you might also be a good fit.

Requirements

  • Excellent skills in PHP or Python (preferably both)
  • Solid HTML/CSS knowledge. The ability to convert a PSD design into semantic HTML markup and well-structured CSS.

Desired skills

  • Experience with at least one of the following frameworks: Wordpress, Django, Magento
  • Javascript programming chops. Especially jQuery/AJAX
  • Design experience, and familiarity with Adobe tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • LAMP development experience
